  • Rise Up

    Rise Up

I created this artwork during while we are stuck at home during home quarantines. Aviation was one of the many industries that is greatly affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. Airport ramps were full of parked airplanes. Airline companies trimmed down their workforce in order to survive the turbulent times. I know there is a reason for everything. In God's perfect time, Aviation will rise up again.

    Ibong Adarna

Because of its beauty, the Philippine Trogon (Harpactes ardens) is thought to be the inspiration of a Philippine folklore, Ibong Adarna.. 🦜 A colorful mythical creature that could heal any illness just by the listening to its song..😊 I photographed this beautiful but elusive bird in Infanta, Quezon, Philippines back in July 2019.. It was taking a gecko to its nest nearby to feed its hatchlings. IUCN currently listed this species as Least Concern but their population is currently decreasing due to habitat loss.. Deforestation and Illegal logging being the main culprit..
