"Eye Contact" That is one of the many things I learned in wildlife photography.. Have a good eye contact with your subject.. and the catchlight is a big bonus๐ This is a Brahminy Kite (Haliastur indus), a resident species that can also be found in other parts of Asia.. This is the intermedius subspecies that can be found in Malay Peninsula, Sunda islands, Sulawesi and the Philippines (Wikipedia) IUCN listed this species as Least Concern but study shows a decline in their population in some parts such as Java..๐ I photographed this one doing a late afternoon hunt for fish before sundown at Taal Lake.. Taken with handheld using Canon R5 with RF100-500 with 1.4TC
